I’ll Meet You There

Just a little Sunday Something –  Deepak Chopra in optima forma – weaving science, ancient wisdom and poetry into a captivating tapestry, talking about Time and Wholeness. And as we are running out of time we are walking into a place that is out-of-time, where you just forget to take pictures because there’s no concept of either past or future. A place that’s so beautifully captured by Rumi:

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other” doesn’t make any sense

If anything, just listen to Deepak reciting  Tagore’s Stream of Life @ 3:20.

– Stream Of Life –

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment

I always had a question about hope. Love how he answered that question- hope implies doubt. Yes, this is so clear. Thanks for shining your light.

Hi Savannah, so nice to hear from you 🙂 There is also something calming in his voice and way of speaking. I haven’t heard this bit in a while, so I might go and listen to it again. Be well, and more : )
